Pune Colleges Starts After 20 Oct, Maharashtra College Reopening 2021

Pune 13 Oct 2021: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has allowed colleges to reopen for offline classes from Monday. Recently, the big news was coming out for the reopening of colleges. Maharashtra government had decided that all colleges will be started from 11 Oct. But it didn’t happen. Most colleges in Maharashtra’s Pune city remained closed on Monday & Tuesday.

Last week the Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC) had announced that the physical classes of the colleges would be started Next Week. For this also information about limited staff and students was given. Entry into colleges was possible only if the students and staff were fully vaccinated.

General secretary of Maharashtra State Principals Federation Sudhakarrao jadhvar said That “We are waiting for clear instructions from Maharashtra higher education & Technical department for colleges to reopen”.

We are waiting for a circular from Savitribai Phule Pune university and education institutes and want to sanitize college campuses and complete the preparatory work.

Principal of Garware College P Buchade said that “most of the students want colleges to start after Diwali. We will start the physical classes after a week and prepare for the practicals in the colleges based on the vaccination data of the students”.

Looking at the particular scenario, colleges now the chances of starting have reduced as the reopening date has been postponed recently. Efforts can be made to give maximum emphasis on the vaccination of students this month.

Colleges can start even after Diwali. Because after Diwali all-out city students will come back to campus and will be able to attend physical classes.
