Pune University Exams: New rules to Curb Cheating, issues guidelines for Students

Pune June 25, 2022: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) graduation & post-graduation Summer Semester exams 2022 are started on June 20th. After 2 years, The students back to on classroom to appear for offline exams. The summer exam will be conducted smoothly at Pune University now. So far more than 2 lakh students have given the exam. Recently Pune University issued a circular for copy cases/ unfair means.

Pune University has now given new orders to the colleges for curb copy cases. According to the information released in the circular, Copy Cases detected by the supervisor/ teachers ordered to Collect given Documents from the candidates. Now, Students who are caught doing malpractice will have to submit their documents to the university. The purpose of this decision is to get the information about the students and to contact them.

If a candidate is caught doing malpractice during the exam, will have to submit their documents. According to the issued circular Form of Undertaking, Report of The Supervisor/ Cheif Conductor, Proforma B, Hall Ticket Xerox, Colleges Covering Letter, Copy Case Evidence & Original Answer Paper is the documents to be deposited.

The SPPU summer exams 2022 are going on from 20th June. In case of any copy case match the students, samples of the student’s documents should be submitted. And in the future, in the same way, it has been ordered that the examination of malpractice cases should be submitted to the university. The university also sent notices to the affiliated colleges to aware to students of this new rule.

Now the thing to watch is how the students will pass this summer session exam. Recently, the issue of Question Bank was raised by the students. Some students told that the difficulty level was the first paper slightly up this time.

If the scores of the students will be down in the exam, then ultimately the rank of Pune University may also go down.
