SPPU Campus Closed Today Due To Employees Indefinite Strike

Pune 21 Dec 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) teaching staff has called an indefinite strike today due to non-fulfillment of demands. Therefore, its effect will be visible on the educational work of Pune University from today. Due to the biased role of the Maharashtra government, the demands of the employees of the teaching staff of the college and the university were not fulfilled, it has been said in the Circular issued by the Sevak Sayukt Kruti (SSK) Organization. So SPPU Campus Closed from today due to employees indefinite strike.

What is the Actual Demand

  • In Maharashtra State, 58 months of Arrears should be paid to the Seventh Pay Commission of agriculture university and college teaching staff.
  • Seventh Pay Commission should apply to the posts of agriculture University.
  • According to the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, a reformed scheme of three benefits should be implemented after ten, twenty and thirty years of service.

Dr. Sunil Dhiwar has told, In this indefinite strike, the teaching staff of Pune University is going to participate from today i.e. from Tuesday. For this, a meeting was called by the employees’ union today and this decision has been taken in it. The main thing is that the Sevak Sayukt Kruti organization had announced this indefinite strike 2 days ago.
