SPPU Exam 2022: Pune University decision on passing process of students for summer semster exams
Pune, 20th July 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) made a final decision regarding the students’ protest held two weeks ago. The University has responded to the students union & organization concerning the students passing process for summer exams 2022.
SPPU Students Protest: As we all know, a protest was held earlier this month on behalf of the students union demanding combined passing and grace marks. A letter has been sent by Pune University to ‘Omkar Sharad Benke, President of the Raashtravaadi Vidhyarthi Congress. In this, The demands of the Protest and the passing process of Pune University have been told.
It has been written in the letter from SPPU Officials that said, “grace marks are given to the students in every semester exams. This time also it will be given. ATKT students are promoted in the next year, and there is no loss to the students. For ATKT, we have not taken such a separate decision.
There is no clarity about combined passing here. But, The university has assured students that they are on the right path in taking decisions on the behalf of the students. The university said that 90% results of the summer exams are good. But among the passing demand of the students, Combine Passing is a major demand that the varsity has not been given. It has to be seen how the students react to these decisions. If the summer exam results are not good, then the students can once again continue to protest against this demand in front of the University.
