Pune, 6th July 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University had earlier started the exam form process for the online examination of Pune University (SPPU) in the month of June. Recently the university had announced the second term exam by issuing a circular.
This exam will now be taken through the MCQ method through the proctored method and for this, students will now have to face new challenges. Which has been done by the university for exam transparency.
A total of 6 lakh students of the university will appear in the second term exam. It has a total of 284 courses for 4,195 subjects. For this, mock tests will be conducted by Pune University from July 8 to 10.
Voice Recognition For Making Exam More Transparent
Board of Examinations and Evaluation, Director Dr. Mahesh Kakade said that this step has been taken to prevent cheating, misbehaving in the exam. Some students’ voices will be recorded here on an experimental basis. This will be suitable for more transparency in the exam.
In the second term exam 2021, there will be changes in the exam for some subjects. 30 questions will be asked for mathematical & Science and Engineering subjects and out of this 25 marks considered for final marks. The old formula has been kept 50:60 for all other subjects.

Failure to log in, log out, unavailability of English / Marathi medium question papers, non-appearance of figures, non-submission of papers, student being infected with covid during exams, the university conducted exams or other CA, CET similar exams coming on the same day.
