SPPU Exams: Student Union Protest Postponed- Demand for Offline MCQ Exams
Pune 17th June 2022: National students union of India (NSUI) postponed the protest Thursday due to unavoidable reasons. The next date of protest will be public as soon as possible told by the State President of NSUI, Amir Shaikh.
The primary demand of this protest is that if the syllabus is taught online, then the exam should not be held in the traditional mode, making it a little easier for the students, and should be held offline with the MCQ-based pattern. Teaching has been done online, so it is going to be difficult for students to take offline exams.
In the month of May, State President Maharashtra & Vidyarthi Congress State President Amir Shaikh and Pune District NSU President Bhushan Ranbhare had requested the Vice-Chancellor of the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Nitin Karmakar. From the very beginning, the chief of NSUI Maharashtra stood up against the offline examination. But this was not noticed.
The SPPU Summer Semester examinations 2022 will be conducted in offline mode. Pune University is also started to provide a question bank for the students as per the 2019 credit pattern. Now candidates can prepare there self for offline exams which are going to be held from June 20th, 2022.
Pune University was taking exams online in MCQ Method. During this, some changes were made to the paper pattern. Preparations were started by the students for the online examination. But this time the exams will be taken in the traditional offline mode. This examination is going to be important for the 2019 Paper Pattern students.
