SPPU Students Demanding Grace Marks & Combine Passing for Summer Exams 2022

Pune 26, June 2022: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) summer semester exams begin on June 20th. The Debate over the Pattern of the Pune University summer examination is now ended. Many students of SPPU are demanding Offline MCQ exams. But The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sanjeev Sonawane) Made the final decision on the students’ protest. Now students of Pune University are demanding Grace Marks & Combine Passing feature in Summer Exams 2022

SPPU Exams 2022: Due to Covid, the students’ exams were being conducted online for the last 2 years. Now Summer Exams are going in the rainy season during June and July. A petition was also filed from the students in court for the examinations to be held on MCQ based pattern. But finally, the exams are being conducted in offline traditional mode only.

Pune University had thought lectures on the ‘MCQ Question Bank’ pattern for examination. Some students said that the toughness of the offline exam has increased a bit this semester. Even less than 50% of questions are coming in the exam from the question bank given by the versity. Hence the passing percentage may contrast the difference in the result of Summer Semester Exams.

This year, there will be a huge difference in the result of the students. Because the Maharashtra government has failed to maintain uniformity in the university examination system. Students those exams in written form they are afraid of failing in it. Hence Combine Passing should be done to find a way out of ATKT / Backlog. We are demanding such a university. So that the student year is not wasted

Pune universities are setting tough papers as compared to other universities. There is a difference between the previous year’s paper pattern and this year’s. There is no link between the question bank and the exam paper. Says, Students.

Student unions are also the demand from Pune University Officials so that it does not affect the treaties of the students in the future. Therefore, the features of combined passing and grace marks should be presented from the varsity at the earliest, it is the request of students. Final year students will get the maximum benefit from (In Sem + End Sem Passing Marks) Combine Passing.
