Vasant More has been the President of Pune City President of MNS. More was appointed as the Pune City President of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, by Raj Thackeray in February 2021. He served as the Leader of the Opposition in Pune Municipal Corporation from 2012-to 2013. More is currently in his third term as a corporator (2007-2012,2012-2017,2017-present). He was first elected as a corporator in February 2007 from the Katraj area in Pune city. He has since been elected twice more in 2012 and 2017.
